This is a beautiful Satsuma vase! I am not an expert, so I hope the pictures and description help. It is a three footed vase shaped like a large egg. It is 6" tall. It's in very good condition. T are no chips or cracks. It is a soft ivory color crackled glaze with elaborate polychrome and gold decorations. I'm told they are called Moriage. The designs are wonderful! My son loves the Japanese culture and he believes the birds are the Phoenix? We're not sure. I have no idea of the age; maybe the marking on the bottom will help? Shipping is 6.00 priority mail, this includes delivery confirmation. Insurance is extra. Other countries must pay more for shipping. Money orders or Paypal are preferred. Personal checks must clear first.
