Beautiful Large Dutch Sterling Ladle Rare Pierced Lid

Pictured in is a beautiful Dutch sterling silver ladle with a pierced lid, cover, or strainer. I have not found any like and think it must be quite rare. The lid is hallmarked on the inside with a lion, key, a capital R with 10 over it, date letter and Minerva head. The handle or standard has the same hallmarks of the Netherlands - Holland. The ladle measures 12 1/4" long, I t has a face and phoenix style bird at the end of the handle accompanied by scrolls and a flower. Another face is on the handle above the bowl amid a vine meander. The ladle lid is pierced scrollwork centering a floral and leaf scroll medallion. I am showing many pictures including a close-up of the lovely way the handle is applied to the bowl on the back. The piece is not perfect but in good condition. It is tarnished and needs to be polished. I would rather leave that to the buyer so I don't use the wrong material. I don't know if the hinge to the lid has been repaired because it is not nicely finished like the back. Please look at the photos carefully for the few small dings. It appears to me to be in very good condition for its age which, in my opinion and not knowing the date marks, I think is late 1800s. The pierced lid rests about a quarter inch from the bowl and rests upon the bowl with the touch of a finger. Please email me any questions.
