Hello and Welcome to my Auction Site
I am very pleased to offer this fine looking Sessions Banjo Wall Clock. This model of the case is called "Revere" It is free of abuse and neglect. It is in very good condition. The case is solid and not falling apart. The mahogany banjo rails are in good condition and do not have repairs to them. The old hand painted nautical glasses are also in great condition with a very minor loss of the paint. The old port hole style top of the clock retains its original brass bezel with a convex glass as well as the iveroid Sessions stamped dial. This case is free of abuse and misuse and all of the hardware is working fine and all is present that the clock had when it left the factory 80 years ago. The clock also retains its Sessions brass pendulum bob as well. The lower door opens to have access for the pendulum. This is a great looking and large nautical banjo clock that is very highly collectible and sought after because it is a large American wall clock and the painting in the lower glass is a large sailing vessel. The clocks movement retains the sessions stamps on the front plate. It is an eight day spring wound time and strike movement that announces the half hour and the hour on a quality sounding cathedral gong. The clock has been keeping good time at the house and will do the same for you. Please look over many large photo's as you can see this clock has been well cared for. If you are a maritime collector this clock will catch much attention with your friends
Please look over my large photo's as they are part of the description and help describe this clock much better. Please email with any questions about anything as I respond to emails quickly.
