I purchased this point a couple of months ago from a old collection from Chicago. The collection had been but away in storage for the last 60 + years, it was wrapped in 1941 and 1944 newspapers. The collection has a lot artifacts from the Edward Payne, Don Boudeman, and other prominent collections from that era. I bought this point on the account of the unusual material, and the amazing red color. I got the piece home and with a bright light was able to see a faint India Ink "San Juan Co. Utah. I'm not the least bit familiar with this material, point type, or anything at all with the culture that made this point. I would have to believe that this piece is a super well made for the material. The workmanship is fantastic as well as being super thin. The piece measures 2.00 inches long and is 1.1/8 inches wide. I will gurantee this piece to be 100% authentic and unaltered. IF you have any questions please feel free to email. Thank you, Mooch |
