ITEM: Lovely old hinged top, enamelled, cranberry glass egg shaped dresser jar. A recent estate purchase it is said to be c1920's according to the original owners daughter. I cannot find anything to verify its age so please study the pictures, ask questions and bid with this in mind. I will guarantee that it is not new and guaranteed old. The hinge, clasp and rings are all brass and in excellent working condition. The top looks to have a pontil or blob type finish similiar to those found on old fishing net glass floats. Wonderfully enamelled with sprays of gold & white flowers and stems with tiny white beads throughout. CONDITION: Excellent. No chips cracks or other suprises. Rings are securely attached to both upper and lower sections of the jar as are the back hinge and front clasp closure SIZE: 5 1⁄2 inches tall & measures 4 inches across at centre of egg.
