This Gorgeous Art Noveau style French Lady Sculpture lamp by the highly noted French sculptor L. Moreau was found at a recent estate sale along with several antique clocks. ( please view the pictures below). The sculpture lamp stands an impressive 25" tall to the top of the globe. The beautiful focal point of the lamp is the lovely Bronze color metal sculpture of a young victorian barefooted lady that is standing on a rocky surface with ocean waves and surf crashing around her. She is clothed with only a off the shoulder shear dress . Her long curley hair is being gently blowing in the wind and she is holding in the air a glass shaded lamp in her left arm. The French sculptor artist Moreau really showed his artistic ability in depicting Life like details in the creation of this lovely lady. At the base of the sculpture has Moreau's signature. The Lady sculpture is displayed on a cylinder shaped pedestal base that has a Brass plaque that reads the following "LE RYTHME DE LA VAGOS PAR L. MOREAU SCULPTOR". This fabulous lamp is absolutely beautiful and would make a great addition to your home's decor or private collection. The overall condition is exceptional still showing the patina finish . T are no cracks or defects I can see anyw Only a small drilled hole in the rear of the base , possibly something was originally t .The electrical wiring of the lamp appears to be all t ,wire , plug , etc, but the bulb socket is unusual and I do not have bulb to check it out. I will keep my price very low for this wonderful lamp and remember this auction is for only 3 days, so place your bids early. Buyer to pay shipping costs. Money order or cashiers check for payment. Thanks for viewing.
