Up for bid is a beautiful uniform set, consisting of a blouse, Ike jacket and the overcoat. Thomas Johnson Fox, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, was born in 1914. He was drafted in 1943, at the age of 29 and served until late 1945. He was attached to the First Army as an Engineer, serving in five campaigns including D-Day, Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, The Rhineland and in Germany. You will note the five campaign stars on his European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon. He received the Bronze Star, Good Conduct, and European-African-Middle Easten Campaigne as seen on his Ike jacket, reading from left to right. You will note the ASN written in both the Ike and overcoat. The blouse is the standard type with his strips, unit patch, and overseas ribbons sewn on. The Ike jacket, size 36 R is a fine example, very clean, with the First Army patch, Technical sargeant, and overseas strips firmly sewn on. The overcoat is one of the finest examples I have ever seen; though it is the standard type coat, the fabric is exceptionally attractive. Very uniform in overall appearance, t no loose threads, evidence of patches being sewn on, or any repairs. The buttons are all present, without dents, cracks, or tarnish. T is only one identification mark in this specimen. It does not look to have used at all, like it just came off the shelf. T
