Huge Victorian family Bible in full leather in very good condition. This Bible is large and weighs in at 10 lbs. !!! The spine, front and back covers are full leather with excellent gold decoration on all three sides and even on the edge of the covers. The pages also have gilt edging which is in wonderful condition. Due to the age t is minor wear with separation at the back cover and spine edge. The Bible measures 10" wide, 12" tall , and 3 1/2" deep, and again weighs 10 lbs. T are over 926 pages and many sections that most Bibles do not have with chronologies and illustrations. T are many steel engraved illustrations in the text and several color pages. In the back are 16 places for family photos. The Bible was printed in 1876 by Bradley Company in Richmond, VA and appears to be the first edition. I have tried to show photos of as many sections as well as the context pages.
