Welcome to The Village Outpost Description is a wonderful large vintage Imperial clear glass perfume bottle and stopper. The clear glass stopper has lillies of the valley pressed into both sides with cut outs. The clear glass bottle is saucer shaped and has a pattern pressed on the top and bottom with three ribbed feet. This is a beautiful perfume bottle. (A little history of this bottle) With the onset of World War II, importers of perfume bottles and vantiy items from Czechoslovakia, such as Irice (Irving W. Rice Co.) and Morlee (De Boer & Livingston, Inc), had to seek alternative American sources to supply the demand. Irice turned to Imperial Glass Co. Of Wheeling, many attractive bottles to be sold under the Irice sticker. (This perfume bottle is circa 1940's.) The bottle and stopper together measures 7 3/4 inches tall. The stopper by itself measures 6 inches long and 2 7/8 inches wide, at it's widest point. The bottle measures 2 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. The stopper and bottle are in mint condition with no cracks, chips, nicks or flea bites. The bottom of the plug has a chip. The stopper appear to have hair line cracks. I assure you they are mold lines, and not cracks. (Bottle brand, Imperial Glass Co. Made for Irice). Please stop into our store and see all the beautiful perfume bottles read more
