Up for Bid is a Beautiful Singer Sewing Machine, model 99K . The 99K is a 3/4 size version of the model 66. This allows it to be more compact and portable. This sewing machine is all metal with external motor and attached sewing light. Uses the same attachments and sews the same great stitch as the Featherweight 221, it is heavier, but is also mor durable.
Included is a complete set of sewing attachments, bobbins, tools, and a nice copy of the original manual, showing operations threading and use of attachments.

This sewing machine sews upholstery, leather, canvas, vinyl, and denim. This machine is in excellent condition. Very little wear, and almost perfect decals, a true gem and a true piece of craftsmanship from a bye gone era.

The machine has been cleaned, oiled, and adjusted, my wife says it sews perfectly. Serial number is EL046976, made between Jan 24 1956 and March 13 1956, at the Kilbowie Factory, Clydebank Scotland .

Instead of the ugly 1950 style cases, I am selling it in a much older Vintage wood coffin style case. The bottom of the case was water damaged, and broken, but I have repaired it. The case originally went with a knee bar controlled machine, but I have removed the knee bar controller, and converted the space to storage. The Coffin style top is original, but has been cleaned and is in great shape.

Shipping weight is around 35 lbs so ground shipping is all I will do.

Happy Bidding, give one of my Singer children a good home, and enjoy sewing again with a true piece of craftsmanship.
