Beautiful Vintage Tureen (Compote) Made In Italy Up for auction is this gorgeous tureen (compote) that I have had for several years. It is approximately 14 inches long by 9 inches tall. This tureen is handpainted with beautiful roses, rose buds and leaves (I'm sure in porcelain) cascading down the lid. The bottom reads: COMMACHIO (with a crown displayed) Made N Italy CAPODIMONTE The tureen is in excellent shape...no chips or cracks. Some of the gold paint has worn off but that's due to age. I have had this in my curio cabinet for display purposes only. THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD "AS-IS" We do our best to describe each item down to the last detail.
