Beautiful, working, prewar Zenith 6S-532 wood table radio. This set dates to the 1941/42, the last of the golden era for Zenith radio. I sold a set that was similar (but not exact) in appearance to this one just two weeks ago, however it was a different model number. Beautiful, original finish- it is what the radio is supposed to look like. This original finish on the cabinet is the result of a very well cared for set, stored in a dry place for many years- it exhibits a glow, a color, a luster and a depth that you don't find in a refinished set- regardless of how well it is done. Great deco styling, the oversized Zenith black circular dial really sets it off. Unit has original knobs, pushbuttons, tone tabs, dial glass (which is impeccible, you see the reflection of both me and my camera in the dial glass, t is no ghosting), grille cloth, and cardboard back. The set plays loudly, clearly with good tone, no hum- on all three read more
