This stein was purchased on a trip to Germany approximately 10 years ago. I have never seen a stein quite like this one. It has a hand painted rainbow trout on the side and top, the aufwendig handgefertigt & Künstlerisch handbemalt stamp and R. Schenkelberg logo on the bottom, as well as Gerz 94% ZINN is stamped inside on top of the lid. It has adorned our fireplace mantel these last 10 years, but a recent remodel has left it in danger of being packed away and forgotten. It really is a beautiful stien.
