This residue "chips" off easily for the most part (please see the photographs). This stein is one piece from a collection of over 200 steins that we will be offering over the coming weeks. They were once part of the decor of a well known Chicago area restaurant and banquet hall. All of them have been displayed for well over 30 years and will need a thorough cleaning.
