1920'S BELBER WARDROBER TRUNK *** NO RESERVE *** This trunk belonged to my Great Aunt. She lived in Johnstown PA and used this trunk to go to college to become a teacher. She went to college in Pittsburg and started t in 1922. When she passed away in 1978, my Father inheireted it. He stored in his walk in attic in Midland, MI for all these years and he finally has given it to me to sell. It is a great piece, but we thought it may mean more to someone else who appreciates fine antiques more than we do. This trunk would work great for a display, or to use as a coffe table to store all your mementos in. It measures 40" x 22" x 20". It is very heavy, I'm guessing about 80 lbs. It has 8 wooden hangers, 4 drawers ( 1 small, 2 medium and 1 large). The large drawer has a removable ball for a hat. It includes 2 removable laundry bags, 1 looks like it came with the trunk, as it is made of the same material as the lining and I am including the other one as well, it looks like it was home made. It has 3 pouches in the bottom for shoes and it has a working lock and the key is included. It is in really good condition, for its age. with only a few scrates to the outside. The inside material is fading a bit but has no water damage or musty smell. The one picture looks like the material is stained on the bottom left but it really isn't. It has always been stored in a smoke free home. Due to the size and weight of this item, it is for local pickup only. We are a suburb in the Detroit, Ann Arbor area.
