Storm season is ! I don't know about your area, but around , these barographs have been going crazy! Steep pressure gradients lately have allowed me to check this Belfort microbarograph against a calibrated Fortin barometer and another Belfort I use for a standard. (I also use a calibrated manometer). Some of you may recognize this as another Belfort Model 5-800A that I have been fortunate enough to be able to rescue from a government downsizing. These are no longer available but when they were, they sold for over $4,000! T aren't very many of these left in this kind of condition! This particular unit is very accurate throughout the range. Pics are of the actual unit being auctioned except for the anatomy shot, which is of a previous identical unit. These units utilize dual opposing bellows and a unique pen dampening system, making these one of the most accurate microbarographs around. I will guarantee the wind-up clock mechanism for 45 days after receipt! I will replace it during that time frame if it should fail. I will also include a copy of the operator's manual that includes everything from the proper feeding of this animal to calibration procedures.
