An Attractive little Carriage Clock in "Very Good " Condition ! *** Circa approx 1920-30's. *** From my Personal Collection . This is a piece of Social History ! Just remember when this was made, there wasn't any commercial flights, No computers, No T.V.'s, No microwaves, people worked a standard 6 day week, 12-14 long hours each day, most didn't get any paid holidays, and people had a very hard life! Good Food was hard to find and expensive. It has withstood at least one world war, and god knows what else, yet it still looks as if it was made last week! It sounds even better than the video can show! *** It is also advertised privately so may be withdrawn early! Bid early to ensure it stays on ebay!!! *** Case is in Classic Black Forest German Oak . Has a Good Natural Patina . Silvered Original Metal Dial with Clock Model name " Alert " & " Guaranteed " printed on it, in Very Clean Condition, also has " Made in Baden ", on bottom of dial. Original Spade Hands . Looks Fantastic ! Key Included. It has had a later handle fitted to the top, but does not detract. *** Movement is in Excellent Condition ! It is made by an unknown German Company. (Probably Badische or Junghans ) The back plate has been Chromed ! Nice Clean Movement. The Dial for the Alarm is situated inside the back, the Cast alarm bell is underneath. Recently
