Bell System Microfilm Cards with View Finder 1970/80's Please read the whole description! Thank you. Up for auction is a Microfilm View Finder and a set of 20 NOS Bell System Microfilm Cards from 1970/80's. This View Finder is NOS and it was used by the Teleplhone Techs for many uses. The cable techs could look at cable prints out in the field by holding it up to the sun light. The Office techs could also use it by holding it up to an inside light. It magnify's the microfilm so the tech can find a cable run ot wiring schematic. This was a very handy tool that saved a lot of time instead of going back to the main office and pulling out the big blueprints. It comes with a carrying case and it has a magnet on the back of it. This was so they could attach it to a truch fender ot telephone cabinet. It is in excellent condition and it comes with 20 cards. Each card has a microfilm on it. They show technical drawings ( T,& ED,drawings) The cards are stamped with either KS 21478 or KS-20563 on it with a Bell Emblem. Each card measures 7&1/4" x 3&1/4", they are in very nice condition. They are dated 1973 & 1980. The View Finder has no date or Bell System branding on it.
