This auction is for flat, tight, bright, solid, 12 cent copies of Ben Casey #7, & #8, published by Dell Publishing Co. in Aug. & Oct., 1964. I have purchased these comics 14 years ago from the original owner & have stored them very carefully ever since. I provide oversized pictures so the bidder can get a much closer look at the comics. The scans in this listing are not touched up in any way. My grade on #7 is vg/fn & #9 is vf-. The pages have an OWL (Overstreet Whiteness Level, a scale of 0 to 10) of 9 to 9.5. All covers & pages (including centerfolds) are held by rust-free staples. Colors on covers are bold. Comics are clean (absence of dirt or soiling). #7 has some cover stresses that can be seen if comic is held at an angle near a light, & bottom right corners have rough edges. #8 has slight spine stress, some oxidation on the spine edge of the back cover, & a tiny chip missing on the bottom left corner of the back cover. Book value on this comic lot is $34.00. Please take a moment to browse through my feedback.
