Here is a fantastic hand blown art glass sculpture by Ben Sharp titled " Vitriscope " . It is a white with a large retticello lens on the front and the disc itself is about 12 " in diameter and the whole thing mounted in the stand is about 17 " tall , It is signed Vitriscope and B Sharp on the reverse side and has a small hole (1/8 ") in the center of the back to keep it from collapsing while going thru the annealing process ( cooling down process ). it is in excellent condition no chips cracks or scratches and the stand is in fine condition as well . Ben made this while he was the lead technician at the Goggleworks center for the Arts hot glass studio technician ,he is currently the glass technician in charge of The Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood , Washington near Seattle .
