Ben Wade Golden Walnut Estate Pipe – R. Boswell

The pipe is hallmarked on underside of shank “Ben Wade GOLDEN WALNUT Hand Made in Denmark”. Take a look at this exquisitely made, 30+ years old pipe. There is an abundant amount of straight grain. The walls on the bowl are quite thick. The pipe is surprisingly comfortable to hold, considering the size of the bowl. There is an indent on the left side of the shank where your thumb rests, easily. The crown of the bowl provides a nice example of plateaux. There is an exceptionally thin line of cake in the bowl.

The stem to this pipe is 100% authentic. If displays the “Crown” logo, without the BW. The logo is less than slightly worn, however still apparent.
