Ben Wade SPIRAL Estate Pipe – R. Boswell

Pipe is hallmarked on underside of shank “Ben Wade Spiral Hand Made in Denmark”. This pipe has an astonishing display of straight grain; the finish is almost red in color. Looking at the underside of the bowl you will be astounded by the magnificent “bird’s eye”. This pipe is a “sitter”. You will be amazed to find the back side of the bowl is slightly concaved and this provides an excellent feel in your hand. Crown and shank display plateaux. This pipe is in wonderful condition and it has been moderately smoked. Bowl does have an exceeding thin line of cake.

Stem is black and original. This is apparent because the stem is embossed with the “BW Crown” logo. The logo is not crisp. The bit is angled upward and has a slight curve. There is no notable “chatter”.

Note: Estate pipes are pre-owned and pre-smoked, some may show wear. Which would be bite marks on the mouthpiece, cake along the inside of the bowl, scratches and also some show fills.
