This is a great little painting by Rev. Howard Finster (1916-2001), probably the most famous "outsider" artist of the 20th century. Benolia, City of Peace is 8" x 10" unframed, and 13" x 15" framed. Created on May 29, 1988 and numbered #7,720 by Finster, it's an excellent small piece and a great example of Finster's art. Finster also signed and numbered the painting on the back. This painting features Finster's painted text -- in later years, he wrote with a Sharpie. This would be a terrific holiday gift for the budding outsider art collector and a fine addition to any existing collection. Free shipping in the U.S.!
