It has been previously smoked, but has been professionally restored to near new condition (check disclaimer). Pipe is reamed, sanitized, waxed, and ready to be smoked right from the parcel. Enjoy ! Pipe is in mint condition showing almost no signs of previous use. This pipe looks likes its been smoked once or twice. Pipe is fully restored, sanitized and Ready to smoke! As you can see, this pipe boasts the AD Silver band, meaning it was selected as one of Dunhill’s finest works! Classic Straight Lovat Pipe Shape. Has a beautiful smooth finish with some nice sporadic flame graining around the bowl! The wood is stained the classic Bruyere reddish brown color which accentuates the graining perfectly! The bowl walls are nice and thick with no charcoal buildup on them at all! The top of the rim is char free as well allowing you to see some graining on the top of the rim too! Comes with original vulcanite stem which still has the Dunhill White Spot on the top. Stem has absolutely no tooth marks at all and it fits nice and tight! Pictures are of the LEFT side of the pipe, the RIGHT side, the FRONT of the bowl, the TOP of the bowl / shank / stem, and the bottom of the bowl / shank / stem. Unless otherwise stated, all my pipes are USED but in NEAR NEW condition. I generally ream my bowls all the way back down to the original wood. I then use a special process to suck out as much of the old tobacco flavors from the inside of the bowls as possible. However its rare that the inside of the bowls will ever be fully tasteless, so expect a slight hint of ghost-flavor on your first smoke (after your first smoke you should never again taste the old ghost-flavors). The stems ARE sanitized and cleaned out. Unless otherwise stated, they have NO tooth marks on them. Although the stems might not have tooth marks, remember these pipes are used and will naturally have small scuff marks on the bowls and stems; so don't be surprised if your stem, or bowl, has scuff marks on it. Please thoroughly analyze the photos before bidding. All pipes are finally waxed and buffed for presentation.
