A kettle for boiling water, complete with stand and heating element. The piece was made by the famed English arts and crafts designer, W. A. S. Benson. [Please see 6th photograph]. The kettle is quite large measuring Twelve [ 12.00 ] inches in height, inclusive of the stand to the top of the handle. Or, 30.50 Cms. The kettle itself stands Seven [ 7.00 ] inches high. Or, 17.50 Cms. From the back side of the kettle to the tip of the spout measures Ten & One-Half [ 10.50 ] inches. Or, 27.00 Cms. The kettle's circumference is Twenty-Five [ 25.00 ] inches. Or, 83.50 Cms. The stand is Five & One-Half [ 5.50 ] inches. Or, 14.00 Cms. The inside of the kettle is tinned. The kettle, the stand and the heating element or in outstanding condition. The entire piece appears to have been lacquered after it was made. Much of the lacquer is gone but some evidence of it will be found on the read more
