This is a late 1960s issue of the "Berkeley Barb," a northern California underground newspaper, Vol. 9 No. 2 Issue 204, issue date July 11, 1969, 8 pages , and is complete. This scant issue was distributed in the middle of a labor dispute between Max Scherr and the Red Mountain Tribe. The front page features an introduction to the problem, written by Scherr, and the related two page article ("Confessions of a Kosher Pig"), also written by Scherr, discusses the dispute. Along with the article is a large photo of Scherr. The rest of the paper are ads. Note regarding scans: Due to the large size of the paper, the top & bottom sections of the front cover are shown separately. Condition: The paper overall is very clean; there is minor paper aging along the edges. See my listings for more 1960s underground newspapers, as well as other interesting and unusual items. Delivery Confirmation is included in the shipping cost. First class shipping is $ 3.50. All items are sleeved in plastic and mailed (as originally folded in half) between sturdy cardboard.
