It is an oil painting on board. The painting is a scene from a Venice canal. It is signed in the lower left corner L. Bertini. L. Bertini is a listed artist with several auction records. This painting appears to be similar to other paintings signed by this artist. I am a novice when it comes to art and do not know for sure if this work is indeed painted by L. Bertini. The painting is framed and is 8 1/4" x 6 1/8". The frame is 12" x 15". The back of the board is stamped 'Made in Austria'. Overall, it is in good used condition. It is a little dirty, has scratches and some paint loss. The matting is wavy and has some scrapes - it should be replaced. Fresh from a Kansas City area estate. An impressive and well done painting. I have three other L. Bertini oil paintings listed at this time.
