This item is an original magic lantern slide (4" x 3 1/2") used by theaters for coming attractions. This slide features Bessie Love in the The Triangle Plays classic drama "A Daughter of the Poor" (1917) which co-starred Carmel Myers, Max Davidson, George Beranger, Carl Stockdale, Roy Stewart, and directed by Edward Dillon. The slide is in very good condition with no cracks and only a very minor fading on the upper right border, none of which effects the image (see picture). The Caption reads: "A story of capital and labor showing how the anarchist of to-day experiences a change of feeling when he sees visions of himself as the capitalist of to-morrow." A wonderful addition for collectors of antique glass slides, classic silent films, or Bessie Love. SPECIAL NOTE: Please look at my other auctions for more great glass slides.
