Sexy yet dignified ivory satin evening or wedding dress from the 1930's. Front, back! The dress is alluringly designed with prominent bias cut design, very Art Deco diagonal lines and Vsmost flattering! The front left shoulder has a matching silk flower corsage with wax buds. This fantastic dress closes at side waist with snaps; the waist has a form-fitting belt with the original paste stones Art Deco double belt buckle (a few stones are missing, but easily replaced or actually not noticeable). The dress is adorned with exquisite matching ivory French lace, dramatic and wonderful! When worn the spider web like all lace sleeves really show up beautifully, cuffs are finished to a slim line V shape satin with snap closure at the wrists. Dress is in excellent condition, there is a tiny spot back centre neckline, very light residue from what looks like tape at the back. I have not tried to remove it, however with so many modern removers on the market I am pretty sure it would be easily removed. One of the cuffs has the lace separating from the satin, easily fixed by stitching, otherwise the dress is perfect and looks to have been worn only once-clean, spotless, no rips or snags-just gorgeous. The measurements are: 38" bust, about a 28-30" waist due to the bias fit. Dress is fully wearable! It is a stunning gown that flatters ones figure. The satin fabric is luxurious and has such flowing weight, it is totally glamorous! Wear it or enjoy it in your vintage clothing collection.
