Found in Massachusetts and up for sale without reserve is a wonderful late 19th century 9-compartment cubby shelf. It is painted a teal/green color and I'm not sure what this was used for originally, but there is a painted red "240" on one of the sides. There are two old screw holes for attaching to a wall, or it will sit nicely on a flat surface. The 9 large cubby holes allow for displaying an assortment of small collectibles. The condition is excellent and solid; sides and dividers are secured with old nails, but there is plenty of age appropriate paint wear and minor wood flaws . It measures: 15-7/8" x 17" x 2-11/16" deep. The openings measure: 4-5/8" x 5-1/4" x 2-1/2" deep. Please view all photos and ask any questions before bidding.history and .
