Offered with NO Reserve! You are considering an Extremely Rare, Well Provenanced Ancient Persian Bronze Arrow from Asia Minor, dating to 1200 - 800 BC. Slightly bent in ancient battle, full of character! This long arrow-head was acquired from the world famous Axel Guttmann Collection. Reference: Christie's UK, Wednesday 28th of April 2004, Sale 5524, Lot 27. This is a particularly outstanding example, demonstrating beautiful construction symmetry, bilateral edges, and a supportive mid rib. It was attached to the wooden shaft in antiquity by way of its long tang. Condition: Intact and Unrestored. Overall length: 4 7/8 inches.
