Best HAWAII STATEHOOD Honolulu HI 1959 Old US Newspaper is a complete, genuine historic old newspaper with the following title, date and description: HONOLULU STAR BULLETIN, Hawaii HI, March 12, 1959 * Best issue on Hawaii Statehood to be had * Very graphic for display The banner headline across the top of the front page--in red ink--reads: * STATEHOOD ! with an 8 1/2 by 6 inch color print of an American Flag with 50 stars, with the 50th being highlighted to mark the historic event. The image and banner headline take nearly the entire top half of the front page, with a smaller heading: "House Sends Bill to Ike". Additional front page coverage includes "Sirens, Bells Herald Statehood Arrival" and "First Class Citizens Now" stretched over photos of various Hawaiians "citizens" of the United States. Very dramatic. If t is a more displayable (incredible color graphics) or historic (from the Honolulu Star Bulletin... the most sought after title from Hawaii, and the title of the most desirable Pearly Harbor reporting), we are unaware of it. The inside of the issue contains additional images and reports too numerous to mention (see images of some examples). The issue is complete in approximately 36 pages, and has minimal wear. Minor staining is present in a few places (see images), but less than typical, with practically know fold wear or browning. Very nice!
