BEST! Soviet velvet banner / LENIN Russian This is an original 1950's - 1960's the BEST Soviet era velvet banner. The banner is unique in having a large embroidered silk bust of Lenin and the largest high relief embroidered laurel around it. Over the bust is the Marxist slogan, 'Workers of All Counries, Unite!' Under the Lenin bust is the slogan, 'Under the Banner of Marxism-Leninism, Under the Leadership of the Communist Party - Forward, to the Victory of Communism!' The banner is approx. 4 ft high and 5 ft long. The banner is fully embroidered with a very colourfull huge high relief USSR Coat-of-Arms on the other side. The C-of-A is 23 inches wide and 2 feet tall and is completely embroidered. The banner is made of a smooth red velvet with gold fringe. It has a slot on the side to hang it on a pole and would look great displayed. T are very few of this variation of banners left so don't miss this opportunity. A nice relic from the Soviet era.
