Its time to downsize my personal collections and this "treasure for you" comes from my smoke free home.
Up for your consideration is this BESWICK 914 "SHEPHERD'S BOY" which corresponds to the M.I. Hummel 64 "Shepherd's Boy" standing 6" tall. T are no chips, cracks, repairs to this war-time piece however t is slight crazing that does not detract from the overall appearance. During World War Two, Beswick introduced their Kindergarten series; copies of the popular Hummel style figurines made in Germany by Goebel. Beswick imported most of these pieces to America and Canada but, after the war, when Germany was again able to export, Beswick ceased production. As they were produced only throught out the war years, these pieces are now very rare. This piece is a must if you are an advanced collecter of M.I. Hummels! Payment : While Paypal is preferred, I will take other forms of payment if you have 10 or more feedbacks. Both E-checks through Paypal and personal checks will have to clear before sending out.
