This is Beatrix Potter's highly collectable, Pigling Bland, from Beswick. He is the First Variation: Deep Maroon Jacket and carries a BP2A Gold backstamp. Modelled by Graham Orwell, he was first produced in 1955 and retired in 1974. Pigling Bland stands 4.25 inches high. He is wearing a purple jacket, blue waistcoat and yellow trousers. He is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. He comes without a box but will be carefully packaged before posting. A must for any collector. Thanks for looking.
