This is a wonderful example of Parsley the lion from The Herbs. Manufactured by John Beswick in 2001 it comes complete with its certificate and box. It is number 9 of a limited edition of 2500 so its a fantastic low number. Parsley should hold a pen in his mouth and there is a small hole around the mouth area where this fits in. When I bought him and got him home the pen was detached from his mouth, I was told it was a manufacturing fault so did not return him. I still have the pen intact and it can be placed into the hole easily so it sits above the book. It displays nicely and was never a problem for me, as it is such a low number I presume they corrected this later. This is reflected in the starting price as they cost me around £80 each when new. It is in its original condition as it has been in a display cabinet untouched all these years. Good luck with your bid and thankyou for looking.
