WELCOME TO MY AUCTION!The Artist is Pennsylvanian born and bred and has a fondness for Steel Town USA. Over the past few years he has produced a series of STEEL TOWN rolling stock honoring our fallen flag mills. Most recently seen coming down the tracks – a series of Steel-Town Boxcars. Here is the BETHLEHEM STEEL (I Beam Logo) BOXCAR #6450 You instantly think steel and Bethlehem Steel when you spot the rusty orange colored boxcar with satiny black roof and ends. And of course the I BEAM logo and wording for BETHLEHEM STEEL. This car is ONE of four decorated for BETHLEHEM STEEL that also includes the notation which reads: When Empty Return to BETHLEHEM STEEL – BETHLEHEM PA. The # notation on the car is BMSL 6450. THIS CAR IS A PROFESSIONALY CUSTOM DECORATED with pad printing (not decals). The Bethlehem Steel Boxcar comes from classic O Gauge 9700 styled boxcar (simulated steelsided boxcar). Opening doors, metal frame, metal brake wheel and die cast sprung trucks with operating couplers. Once the boxcar was new Lionel stock, prior to being redecorated. Traditional O gauge – the boxcar measures 9 ½ inches + the coupler extension. The car is 3 1/4 inches tall (approx) and 2 inches wide. CUSTOM DECORATED.
