Up for auction is a vintage Bethlehem Steel red hard hat. A sticker inside identifies the hat as Bullard "Hard Boiled" and as "The Original SAFETY HAT". The inside clips and suspension strap are in good condition. That hat has been spray painted and t are some runs in the paint. The hat does show some wear. You will see the paint has chipped off the two yellow and black "Bethlehem Steel Work Safely" stickers. T is a sticker that is painted over on the back of the hat. The sticker, although unreadable, appears to be the Bethlehem "SAFETY FOR ME-MY FAMILY-MY FELLOWMAN" sticker. I obtained this hat at an estate sale at the residence of an employee at the Johnstown Plant. An excellent addition to your Bethlehem Steel memorabilia.
