This is a VERY RARE edition of this mic! There were only 200 of these made! This is a regular Beyerdynamic M160 ribbon mic, BUT it's the special 50th Anniversary Edition (released in 2007), and it is in the original chrome finish! It's a much nicer looking finish compared to the regular version. It comes with a beautiful wooden box, shockmount clip, stand adapter, extra shockmount bands, user manual, original warranty good until September 2017, and lab-printed frequency response chart of this exact mic!This mic is Serial Number: 16181One side of the mic has the "beyerdynamic)))) M 160" logo, and the other side reads "1957 - 2007".Besides being an amazing sounding mic, this is also a collector's piece since there were only 200 of these made!I bought this mic new in 2007 from Sweetwater. I have taken GREAT care of it, so it is in the same condition as it was when I bought it new! I have used it a few times in the studio only for drum overheads, percussion, and acoustic instruments, and it is an AMAZING sounding mic!
