The Beyerdynamic MC834 condenser microphone features an extremely linear frequency curve and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The cardioid polar pattern delivers high gain before feedback and without pre-attenuation the microphone has a sound pressure level capability of 130 dB, and with pre-attenuation up to 150 dB. The microphone has a balanced output and requires phantom power between 12VDC and 52VDC. The MC834 is a universal studio microphone which lends itself well to a variety of applications including digital recording, both lead and back up vocals, voice-overs, miking of pianos, strings and brass instruments. Other features include switchable 10dB and 20 dB attenuation, 2 position low frequency roll-off filter and an internal elastic suspension. Requires phantom power to function.
