This is an elegant bible marker, ideal for use in home or small chapel, and in near mint condition, probably made within the last 20 years or so. The black velvet fabric portion is 11 3/4" long, 1" wide, and including the 3" jeweled cross and the cameo pendant at the other end, the overall length of the item measures 17" long. The cross is solid gilded brass, studded with rhinestones and the center is very dark ruby glass. The matching cameo frame is also decorated with 8 rhinestones, and measures 1 3/4" long with reverse portion easily detaching the three piece ovals (black card backing, image and covering acetate) so that you can display any miniature image of your choice very easily and interchangeably. I simply chose a Madonna and Child portrait from an old holy card for display purposes The bible marker is in near mint condition.
