This is a complete ten volume set of The Bible Story by Arthur Maxwell. It is in very good condition with tight bindings and no loose or missing pages. The copyright dates vary in the 1981-1982 era. There is no writing on the pictures or text of the Bible stories but I did find the following flaws :There are ink pen scribbles on the endpapers (the inside cover) in 8 of the 10 books. They range from very light pen marks to a few children's names. I saw 2 pages that had some yellow age spots and on the presentation page of volume one the name was erased. There is a tiny hole at the top of the edge of volume 8.The Bible Story series by Maxwell is possibly the finest Bible stories ever written and the artwork is absolutely beautiful. I had a set of these as a child and still remember how wonderful it was to hear these stories and see the detailed colorful pictures.
