These whimsical, large one of a kind artist dolls were hand crafted by West Coast doll artist Kate Zimmer. They look very much like Anne Mitrani's amazing child character dolls. This listing is for the girl in the pink dress. Here is her story: Marianna, Madeline, and Millicent are sisters. They are always up to something! Marianna, the "pink" sister, has soft strawberry blonde curls and grass-green eyes. She is the eldest sister and the ringleader, always inventing new games to play with her two best friends. The sculpting and painting work on Marianna's hands, feet and face is detailed and meticulous. Marianna has sparkling green painted eyes. Her arms, legs and cheeks are dusted with delicate freckles and her nose has "laugh lines" from her cheeky smile. Her soft curly hair is made of real human hair. Marianna is wearing a beautiful handmade dress made of sheer pastel pink chiffon. Her hair ribbon matches. Underneath, she wears a matching slip and tap panties. She has real children's pink leather sandals and white crocheted socks.Marianna has a stuffed fabric torso; her head, arms and legs are sculpted from a type of polymer clay called Cernit.
