WOW~~I recently purchased a large box of big, bold and colorful lucite jewelry at an Estate Sale and what an interesting ride it has been. I didn't know much about the jewelry in the beginning, other that some of the pieces were huge, it was colorful, cool and I liked the pieces. I set up the jewelry to sell it and it didn't take long for someone to recognige what I had. It seems I had purchased a large box of never used, new old stock. I learned the jewelry was designed by Judith Hendler. Judith sold an exclusive, expensive, designer line of big bold and chunky lucite jewelry in the late 70's and early 80's to 22 Saks 5th ave stores in Southern California. She sold her jewelry line for 14 years and had a huge following.....Before I knew it, Judith had contacted me. Judith has retired and will never do her jewelry line again but she has given me the privelige of buying the last of the stock that has been stored for years and the inventory is starting to get low....Her jewelry was quite popular out in California and she has made the cover of a lot of magazines and her jewelry was worn by models and stars... I have included a copy of a cover of an 80's Harpers Bazzar Magazine with a model on the cover wearing one of her champagne line bracelets.
