This is what I believe to be a really nice old antique native american indian hand woven basket. I have handled antique wicker furniture before, and although this is not the same material, this shows the same nice old patina. I think around 80 - 100 yrs old, maybe a little more. The colors and decoration are very restrained and muted on the outside due to exposure to light and wear, but on the inside they are brighter. This is due to age. It is big measuring 20'' high and 16'' across. It looks as though a lot of work went into this piece. It is sound overall and does not have any holes or tears. T is some wear and to the top and base w it sits and is to be expected. If you have any questions please feel free to email.
