Hello. This auction is for an old fire extinguisher. BABCOCK No.1. Made by American LaFrance Fire Engine Co., Elmira, N.Y. It is a full thirty inches tall and has a diameter of nine inches. It weighs around twenty five pounds and is all copper and brass. The other one in some of the pictures is just to show the size of the big one. It no longer has the hose and nozzle, but the tube inside is there, and the acid bottle mechanism is all there, but no acid bottle. Brass is about $1.65 a pound right now, which is how this would scrap out, so bidding will have to start at $49.99, but with no reserve, buyer pays shipping. Thanks! P.S. It is empty!
