We sell lots of the so-called "peg-leg" alarm clocks. Some folks call them "tin can" alarms because of their round metallic cases. These 30-hour bedside alarm clocks were made in LaSalle, Illinois by a company called the WESTERN CLOCK COMPANY and they made them as durable and sturdy as any alarm clock that has ever come onto the market before or since. This beauty is in near MINT condition. The nickel plated case is excellent and the dial is as clean and white as it was when it first came off the assembly line in LaSalle back in the 1920's. There are two controls on the top of the clock....one which allows the user to select between ALARM and SILENT and the other that provides STEADY or REPEAT alarm bells (this sounds the alarm for a while and then goes silent for a short time, followed by another sounding of the alarm...continuing until the sleeper either gets out of bed or covers the clock with his pillow!). And the real PRIZE with this clock is that it comes with it's original box!!! These boxes often sell to collectors for almost half as much as the clocks themselves. It's ready to ship to your home where you can actually use it as your primary alarm clock....it works that well. And, the price is surely RIGHT!!!
