See my other auction this week for a huge lot of 145 45rpm singles by The Beatles as solo artists, Apple label artists and much more including imports! This auction is for a lot of 34 8 track tapes, all on the Apple label! These tapes came from a collector who was a Beatles fanatic… and quite the completist! T are quite a few rare tapes in , featuring some of the more obscure Apple artists! ’s the list: David Peel & The Lower East Side- The Pope Smokes Dope. Mary Hopkin- Post Card. Elephant’s Memory. Billy Preston- That’s The Way God Planned It. Lon & Derrek Van Eaton- Brother. Mary Hopkin- Earth Song/Ocean Song. Phil Spector’s Christmas Album. Billy Preston- Encouraging Words. Badfinger- Wish You Were , No Dice, Ass, Magic Christian Music, and their self-titled album. Modern Jazz Quartet- Space. Come Together (soundtrack). George Harrison- Electronic Music (VERY rare, on the Zapple label), Extra Texture, Dark Horse, Thirty-Three & 1/3, and his self-titled album. Paul McCartney- 2 copies ofWings Over America, two copies of his first solo LP, Red Rose Speedway, Wild Life, Band On The Run, and At The Speed of Sound. Ringo Starr- Goodnight Vienna, Ringo the 4th, Bad Boy, Blast From Your Past, “Ringo”, and Ringo’s Rotogravure.
