This large, handcarved, handpainted 6 by 4-1/2 by 3-inch ANRI is of a red-headed, freckled girl enjoying her bath. It was designed by Sarah Kay and carved by Ulrich Bernardi. It is numbered 46 out of 1000 and is signed by Ulrich Bernardi in black Sharpie. The girl's hair is tied back with a bow while she scrubs her back with a pink brush. Both of these elements are remarkably executed, delicate, detailed, and lifelike. The perimeter of the bathtub is painted with a tole-like design. Carved bubbles cover all the parts that need to be covered for decorum. My youngest daughter said looking at this ANRI will definitely encourage you to relax in the bath. This figure has been stored out of direct sunlight in a smoke-free environment. T is no box or COA, but I have been an ANRI collector for 20+ years and can absolutely vouch for its authenticity. T are some very small areas on the base w a miniscule amount of paint has flaked off. These can either be touched up or ignored. Please check out my other auctions. I will be selling a number of collectible bears, stuffed animals, and ANRI wooden carvings over the coming weeks.
