Excellent old vintage handwrought Mexican sterling silver rhinestone and graduated bead necklace and matching earrings, 17" long, great length, many of the old sets of silver beads are too short, this one hangs at the perfect spot on your neck, . the beads are hollow so necklace is not too heavy, you can wear it all day, the necklace and earrings weighs 95 grams, the largest handmade silver beads are 1/2" round and the smallest are 1/4", graduating in size between these sizes, , I see no dings, , fastens with a tongue in box closure, marked 925 the very beautiful big matching earrings are marked Mex 925 "TA-55", and are 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide, this set is guaranteed to be old, I bought this set in an antique store and they kept it cloth polished,, every woman should have a set of these beautiful beads with the matching earrings, not often you find a set that also has a big attractive very colorful and bright rhinestone as a focal piece, just lovely,, very lovely and versatile, the earrings are clip, but if you wanted it would be a simple fix for a jeweler to drill a small hole so you could put on sterling silver ear wires and wear as poierced, i do this with quite a few old clip earrings, this set is very collectible, and you will love wearing it, it will get many compliments and comments, you will love this set!!please check out my other auctions, most times I can ship multiple auction wins together with no additinal shipping costs.
